Alina joined Global Advertising Strategies in 2008 as Creative Director. In that role, she spearheads the strategy, innovation, and quality of the agency's creative vision. Her focus is mentoring, managing, and stimulating the creative process for small or large, integrated cross-channel campaigns and promotional experiences.

Alina oversees all stages of a campaign's lifecycle, from strategy and concept, to development, and through to execution. Her experience includes hands-on development of innovative marketing campaigns for interactive, traditional, and cross-media vehicles. Besides her creative management expertise, she has in-depth experience with brand development & management in industries such as consumer, healthcare, technology, government, tourism, and not-for-profit. Prior to her current role, Alina has led creative teams at Ripple Effects, Ogilvy, J Walter Thompson, and Wunderman. Her portfolio features award-winning campaigns for global accounts such as Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Symantec, Panasonic, Microsoft, The United Nations, and The Diamond Trading Company, among many others.

Alina holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honors from the Academy of Arts in Bucharest, Romania and achieved a Masters of Arts in Interactive Design from the University College of London. Born in Bucharest of a Greek-Romanian family, she is fluent in English and Romanian, and is conversational in Spanish, Italian, and French.
