Maria joined Global in 2005 as Senior Account Manager and successfully managed key accounts of the agency, helping clients grow their business in the telecom, financial and travel sectors by developing and conducting award-winning campaigns across 22 multicultural markets, including Eastern European, South Asian, and Middle Eastern segments. Through the use of innovative marketing strategies, Maria has been the driver for such successful campaigns as Lufthansa’s WeFlyHome, as well as for such clients as DIRECTV throughout the U.S.’s multicultural landscape.

As the Director of Client Services, Maria helps the agency deliver measurable results to all clients, employing the latest traditional and non-traditional marketing tools, including interactive, out-of-home and social media solutions.

Prior to joining the agency, Maria developed her multicultural and project management skills in various industries. As a member of a Northwest-based consultancy, Maria helped U.S. financial experts evaluate investment opportunities within the world’s emerging economies. And, as an employee of a Washington DC-based defense contractor, Maria managed communications between U.S. and European governmental bodies on joint demilitarization projects. Her work has also been recognized for excellence by the Peter Drucker Foundation.

Maria is fluent in Russian and Spanish. She has a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Alaska and a B.A. in Economics from the Northern International University in Russia. She is continuing her education in the MBA program at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
