Integrated Marketing & Business Development
Larry joined Global Advertising Strategies in 2007, and as head of Integrated Marketing & Business Development is responsible for synergizing the agency's complete offerings with its clients' needs as well as generating new business opportunities and partnerships.
Larry’s career spans nearly 20 years, his domestic and global experiences have honed his expertise in marketing, public relations, crisis communications and consulting. Prior to joining Global Larry held the position of VP of strategic planning and new business at Kang & Lee Advertising. He has spearheaded the strategic planning for some of America’s most ground breaking multicultural marketing campaigns including efforts for Western Union, Allstate Insurance, Oxford Health Plans, GSK, Novartis and AstraZeneca, U.S. Department of Treasury, U.S. Census Bureau, and the New York Times. Larry also spent over 8 years in marketing communications positions in the Greater China region, last of which was as a Director for Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, where he helped to introduce many global brands.
Larry’s work has often been recognized for producing effective marketing results for his clients. His team leadership has led them to receive such awards as the AAF Mosaic Award, the Advertising Research Foundation’s 2001 Grand Ogilvy Award for Research and Planning, as well as a Gold Effie.
His expertise has been recognized by the press and his views have appeared in many publications including Adweek, American Demographics, AP Wire stories, Advertising Age, MediaWeek, PR Week and the Washington Post. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and events worldwide.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Larry is a graduate of Bucknell University and has studied at National Taiwan University and Beijing University. He is also the only global surfer from Long Beach, New York.
